🎡 Dollywood Harvest Festival
September 14 - October 31, 2026
Dollywood goes all-in on fall during its annual Harvest Festival, filling the park with seasonal flavors, beautiful autumn décor, and hundreds of live performances featuring Southern gospel, bluegrass, country, and Americana music.
Stay after dark for Great Pumpkin LumiNights, when more than 12,000 glowing pumpkins transform the park. New for 2026, there's also a nightly Great Pumpkin LumiNights Dance Party to add even more fun after the sun goes down.
🐻 Bear-Varian Fall Festival at Anakeesta
August 28 - November 1, 2026
Fall gets a Bavarian twist high above Gatlinburg during Anakeesta's Bear-Varian Fall Festival.
Enjoy Bavarian-inspired foods, craft beers and ciders, live entertainment, festive décor, and some pretty spectacular views as the mountains begin their autumn transformation. Make time to head up to AnaVista Tower while you're there - fall color looks even better from above.
🍁 Wears Valley Fall Fest
October 16-18, 2026
If handmade treasures, live music, good food, and mountain views sound like your kind of fall day, Wears Valley Fall Fest belongs on your list.
More than 240 artisan crafters fill 16 acres in beautiful Wears Valley, along with regional musicians, children's activities, food trucks, and plenty of seasonal treats. And with the surrounding mountains as the backdrop, the setting is every bit as special as the festival itself.
🎃 Kyker Farms Corn Maze
September 26 - October 31, 2026
Sometimes you just want a good old-fashioned fall day, and Kyker Farms in Sevierville delivers.
Get lost in the corn mazes, take a hayride, choose a pumpkin, and enjoy plenty of farm fun along the way. With activities for kids and seasonal traditions the whole family can enjoy, it's an easy way to spend a crisp fall afternoon together.
✨ Autumn's GLOW at The Island
September 21 - November 15, 2026
There's something brand new glowing at The Island this fall.
Autumn's GLOW combines colorful seasonal displays and photo spots with fall shopping, dining, and nighttime entertainment. After dark, the Show Fountain comes alive with a special fall soundtrack and glowing maple-leaf lanterns floating across the water, while the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel joins in with harvest-themed light shows.
Best of all, admission and parking at The Island are free.
🍎 The Apple Festival at The Apple Barn
October 2-4 & October 9-11, 2026
Few things say fall quite like fresh apples, and this year The Apple Barn has an extra reason to celebrate.
In honor of 50 years of growing apples, The Apple Barn is hosting two weekends filled with live bluegrass, orchard wagon tours, antique tractors, farm demonstrations, family activities, and, of course, plenty of apple treats and fresh cider.
Admission is free, so come hungry and leave a little room for a fried apple pie.
🥨 Oktoberfest at Ober Mountain
September 25 - November 1, 2026
A longtime Gatlinburg fall tradition, Oktoberfest at Ober Mountain brings Bavarian flavor to the Smokies with live entertainment, traditional foods, seasonal décor, and plenty of fall fun.
And because you're celebrating high above Gatlinburg, the changing mountains provide a pretty spectacular backdrop to it all.
🍂 Gatlinburg Harvest Festival
September 1 - November 1, 2026
You don't even need to plan around a particular event to find fall fun in Gatlinburg.
During the Gatlinburg Harvest Festival, downtown fills with elaborate seasonal displays and 30 life-size, three-dimensional scarecrows. Turn your walk through town into a scavenger hunt, find your favorite display, and enjoy all the fall touches along the way.
