An Evening with Diamond Rio
Legendary country group Diamond Rio recently celebrated its milestone 20th anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member. Diamond Rio can boast platinum records, CMA and ACM awards, and Grammy nominations. Their 1991 smash, “Meet in the Middle,” reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Polar Express Train Ride
Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, guests on board will enjoy warm cocoa and a treat while listening and reading along with the magical story. Children’s faces show the magic of the season when the train arrives at the North Pole to find Santa Claus waiting. Santa will board THE POLAR EXPRESS™, greeting each child and presenting them with a special gift as in the story, their own silver sleigh bell. Christmas carols will be sung as you return back to the Bryson City Depot.

Pigeon Forge Winterfest Kickoff
Winterfest kicks off in Pigeon Forge November 7, 2024 at Patriot Park with festivities beginning at 5:00 pm. At the end of the night the city will transform into a winter wonderland with the activation of more than 6 million holiday lights followed by a spectacular fireworks show.

The excitement begins at 7:30 p.m. where the parade will step-off from Baskins Creek Bypass on East Parkway, before spanning through Gatlinburg and ending at traffic light #10.

Sevierville Christmas Parade
Be part of Sevierville’s 62nd annual Christmas Parade. The parade steps off at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from the parking lot of First Baptist Church Sevierville. Chevys In The Smokies is an annual car show and swap meet celebrating Camaros, Chevelles, C10s, and all types of Chevrolet vehicles. The 2025 Chevys In The Smokies is the 48th anniversary of the Smoky Mountain car show. Events include a swap meet, sales corral, park 'n show, awards show, and a corvette cruise on the Tail Of The Dragon.
Ponies In The Smokies
Join the fun at the Ponies in the Smokies 2025 car show with 108,000 square feet of indoor vendors and special displays. Come and enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains and kick off the car show season right. Ponies In The Smokies is an annual Pigeon Forge car show celebrating the Ford Mustang – the longest produced nameplate by Ford Motor Company.
Spring Rod Run
Calling all the automotive enthusiasts out there! The Pigeon Forge Rod Run car event is the area’s largest automotive gathering, and it’s coming back to town from April 10-12. It's one you surely don’t want to miss! This spring event will feature a massive swap meet with hundreds of show cars, a car corral, top 25 awards, ultimate 5 awards, a cash giveaway of $8,000, and much more. Bloomin' BBQ & Bluegrass

Fireworks Finale
Celebrate America at Gatlinburg’s July 4th Fireworks Finale in Downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee, to mark our nation’s “Independence Day” with an amazing fireworks show starting at 11:00pm. The fireworks will be launched from the Gatlinburg Space Needle and spectators can view the fireworks from any vantage point in Gatlinburg.

Patriot Festival

River Raft Regatta
Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping summer spectacle in Gatlinburg! Back by popular demand and nestled within the lively atmosphere of Gatlinburg’s Fourth of July festivities, it’s time for the exhilarating River Raft Regatta: an annual showdown of unmanned floatables racing down the Little Pigeon River.

July 4th Parade
Gatlinburg kicks off the holiday with the first Independence Parade in the Nation stepping off at 12:01 a.m. on July 4. Stretching more than a mile, the parade route begins at Baskins Creek Bypass on East Parkway, turning south onto Parkway at traffic light #3 and traveling the length of downtown to traffic light #10 at Ski Mountain Road. Parade goers are encouraged to arrive early on Monday, July 3rd in order to secure the perfect viewing area along the parade route.

An Evening with Eddie Montgomery
Montgomery Gentry’s Eddie Montgomery is having a good time – and it shows. As one of the most recognizable voices in a generation of country singers, Montgomery continues to tour coast-to-coast behind a time-tested collection of rowdy and heartfelt songs. That collection grows with the new release – Home Run, a six-song EP that includes hard-workin’ stories, fatherly wisdom, brotherly appreciation and a boot-stomping reworking of Montgomery Gentry’s first single “Hillbilly Shoes.”

Rise Up Con
This isn’t your normal comic con style event. This event will feature meet and greets and autograph signings with your favorite actors and filmmakers from the Faith-based films that you have grown to love. In addition the event will feature musical artists, Q&A panels, vendors, artists and so much more! Don’t miss this faith & family fun filled event, where fandom becomes faith!

A Mountain Quiltfest
Celebrate the art and heritage of quilting at the annual A Mountain Quiltfest. Quilters from all around will come together in Pigeon Forge for this ultimate quilting event. Quilters have the opportunity to attend classes that are based on skill level and technique. There will also be a quilt show that displays a variety of quilts for your viewing pleasure.

National Trails Day
National Trails Day celebrates the great outdoors nationwide. This day intends to encourage people to get outdoors and enjoy nature and trails that are accessible to them on a local, state and federal level. National Trails Day is an opportunity to work within crews of experienced maintainers and see how much work goes into the beautiful trails we hike on in the GSM.

Free Fishing
Every June, Tennessee State Parks offers two opportunities to fish for free and without a license. Free Fishing Day is open to anyone and is always the Saturday in the first full week in June. Second, Free Fishing Week follows Free Fishing Day and is open to children 15 and younger. Although all Tennessee public waters, agency owned and operated lakes are included, this is a wonderful time to fish the bodies of water in and near the Smoky Mountains, which are known for wild trout and fly fishing.

Pontiacs In Pigeon Forge
The annual Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge features a Swap Meet and classic GTO’s, Firebirds, Fieros, Best in Show, Best in Stock and the Saturday Night Cruise. This year Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge will be held at the LeConte Center. All proceeds from the show will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

An Evening with Sara Evans

Memorial Day Pool Party
Come celebrate the unofficial kickoff to summer at the Community Center over Memorial Day weekend! The Outdoor Pool Party will show off the 30-foot double slide, Splash Pad and Kiddie Pool area. The event will feature games, discounted concessions, music and of course, swimming!

Scottish Festival & Games
The Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games is the leading, and one of the oldest, celebrations of all things Scottish. The event features Scottish culture and traditions with educational presentations, Scotch tasting seminars, Border Collie demonstrations, Pipe and Drum bands and Highland Dancing. Scottish clans and athletes will compete in the hammer throw toss, kilted mile run, feats of strength, caber toss and the battle axe competition. Food vendors will offer cultural fare like meat pies, short breads – and of course – haggis.

Festival Of Flags
In May and June, guests at the SkyPark will see a unique display of the American Flag, our Military Flags, and all 50 State Flags from the SkyBridge. This will be a sight to see as all flags will be displayed above the city from the SkyBridge, and it should be a great new way for us to honor our nation for both Memorial Day and Flag Day.

Grand National F-100 Ford Show
The Grand National F-100 Reunion in Pigeon Forge is the largest classic Ford truck show in the country. The event is open to Ford trucks from 1996 and older. This event will showcase trucks in a family atmosphere, with an awards banquet and food vendors.

The Appalachian Volkswagen Association presents the Circle Yer Wagen VW Show at the Sevier County Fairgrounds.
The two day VW show includes a huge swap meet, contests for cash prizes, stereo contests and engine sound-offs.

Easter Sunrise Service
The Gatlinburg SkyPark will be hosting a Free Easter Sunrise Service on April 20, 2025, at 7:15am. This is a free event where guests will be able to enjoy the SkyPark at no cost, watch the sunrise from the top of Crocket Mountain, and hear a brief gospel presentation all from the top of the mountain, on Easter morning, at the Gatlinburg SkyPark!

Pigeon Forge Easter Egg Hunt
Pigeon Forge Parks & Recreation is hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Wear Farm City Park on the Saturday before Easter. Come join in the fun with inflatables, a free raffle and a chance to take pictures with the Easter Bunny!

St Patrick's Day
Spend St. Patrick's Day at The Island! The whole Island will be lit up green to celebrate with fun festivities all day long! This free event will feature LIVE performances by Tuatha Dea as well as various food and drink specials at participating Island shops and restaurants. Adding to the day’s festivities, The Island fountains will be dyed green and feature special, Celtic-inspired music selections in celebration of the holiday.
